It’s been 102 years since the end of The Great War (World War I).

On this day we remember the men and women who had given their all in WW1 and the wars that followed. I do not glorify war but I remember the sacrifices that were made and are being made by our armed forces here in Australia and abroad. On this day, this year when the world is in crisis and our armed forces are helping build hospitals, not in some far away land under gunfire but against a virus that has devasted the world, we remember those that came before us.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

Lest We Forget
