I read Where Shadows Linger, the second installment in the Intertwined Souls series, in one single sitting, all 640 pages of it. This superb novel held me firmly in its grip from the very first chapter, and it didn’t let go until I had devoured the very last word. Riveting indeed. Then I read it again, savoring each scene this time, lingering here and there, allowing myself to get lost in the world created by the very talented Mary D. Brooks.
